I am in the process of starting a small business setting War Gaming Products. Currently not planning on quitting my full time job, but i am hoping to be able to make enough to start my own brick and mortar shop a few years time.

Currently I have the domains (both .com and .com.au) purchased.

I am currently looking at eCommerce platform which i can sell my products.
I would like a platform which is scale-able as i am starting off small. At this stage I might only have about 100 product. But I feel that by the end of the year this will change.
I am looking at using PayPal for my payment method.
I would like some thing which i can be my own shop. So no eBay or Esty shops.

I have started looking around via Google. I am finding some of these services just wants me ot sign up with a 14 day or 30 day trial with out giving me much information.
One advantage I do have is that previously i used to sell / support retail Point of Sales systems . So I have some understanding of those systems.

Does any one having suggestions for e-commerce solution (not eBay)
Any tips or traps i should be looking out for when choosing an e-commerce solution?

A guy I do website work for has utilized Magento before.

There's also plugins for WordPress, Drupal, etc. web platforms if you went that route.

There are so many eCommerce platforms in marketing such as word press, megento development, opencart, woocommerce and big commerce. So, choose your platform according to your requirement.
