I had the same problem with using PM in windows 98/ME. It woked fine in XP. I still dont know what might have caused that...

And about your linux post, if you can't find a way to create separate ext3/reiserJFS , then backup stuff , recreate partition table ( with Fat32 and Reiser/ext3 ) install windows followed by linux.

yeah, ive googled it a few times, ill have another look there. The services you mentioned before are enabled and running. And i dont really want to backup and re-install at the moment. So mabye bye bye linux for a little while.....
