Folder and file comparison

Hi,

My website was recently hacked because of the Ultimate Member plugin vulnerabilities.

I've restored my site to a previous backup but my host is telling me I need to compare all files and make sure there is not malicious code anywhere that could cause the hack again.

Going through every Wordpress file would take hours and hours.

I'm wondering if there is a quick way of doing this? - does anyone know of a tool I could use in Terminal or even a GUI app that will compare two folders and all sub folders and files and also compare file contents.

The zip file you used to upload to WordPress... use https://www.virustotal.com/#/home/upload to scan this zip file containing all files/folders you put on wordpress.

Good Idea, Im going to test this out too.. will add to my list handy diagnostic tools if it works.
