Potentially the longest thread in history...

So, for those curious... a certain companies special yearly event is most likely July 15th to the 22nd... Just a heads up for those that like that special time of year when they can get goodies at a steeeeep discount.

No, I can't name said company, nor state anything, NDA and all that good jaz, but it typically happens around that time of year. >.>

How is it ?

Was pretty great. We get free food, including fruit, hot drinks, soft drinks, etc. Got a bit of swag in the form of a branded hoodie and some polos.

Team is great. The job is much more technical than my last, which I like. Lots of scrub-tier vendor training to do over the next few weeks, but should be interesting enough. Was doing some Palo Alto today after my general induction and introduction to the ticketing and case management systems.

Randomly decided to last minute attend Edc over the weekend... got called on stage to rage w my 2 favorite djs ever!! It was an unreal experience!

Third day of new job. Getting used to the ticketing system, policies, etc. Been going through the course content of the Palo Alto 110, in prep for my 210 at the end of June. Also got an AeroHive training course at the start of June which will be more my thing, so I've been going through their troubleshooting guides and getting used to their product lines. If anyone knows Palo Alto, Aerohive, Gemalto, or SafeNet, you'll probably get bugged by me sooner or later :)

I just realised the $2000 Asus Rog Swift 4K 144Hz HDR monitor is advertised in the picture with a out of factory color accuracy of Delta E < 3. Lol. That is kind of ****, there are monitors that cost 1/2 as much and come out of the box with Delta E < 2. I guess its not too bad for the target market though.

I just can't believe the price. I guess, if they charged $1000/£800 then they could get away with that. But it's 2x that amount. I'd expect OLED 4K 144hz for that...

Has anyone else seen the new pfSense forums. They are incredible. So much interactivity and so much available such as having instant chat while browsing and posting reply.
