Heatsink Installation

Hi! I have a friend who bought a Silent 775 hsf for his P4 560. Problem is it came with no installation manual. The problem is that there is a safety back plate. Now he is thinking that the safety back plate should be below the motherboard and the heatsink should go through the motherboard and the pegs should get locked to the back plate. Is this right.

link doesn't work, but yes he is correct. The newer boards like the AMD64 boards and the newer Intels all use backplates which go on the backside of the motherboard, and the heatsink then screws into that.
