Ahh! TEMPERATURES!!!!

I installed a 3d Rocket Cooler on my Intel Pentium 4 520. On the stock HSF, I usually get 45C/53C on stock. Now I'm getting 41C/64C on stock. The reviews I've checked show a 3d Rocket Cooler (not Pro) reducing full load temps by 10C. What have I done wrong?

Make sure you didn't connect the power plug the wrong way around

My bet is that the paste you put on between the actual cpu and hs is bad. Try some artic silver 5.

make sure and only put a thin layer of paste dont coat it on that will make it worse. also give it some time after the paste thins out over the cpu itll lower a little bit.
