Getting Virus Checks after Proper Shutdown?

I've been getting constant virus checks on my comp lately even when I shut down my computer properly from the Start menu. I've went and done a scandisk check, trojan check, spyware, etc. and it still has the same problem. Does anyone know why it does this and how to fix the problem? Thanks in advance.

And if after the AdAware SE, Spybot, and A/V, you still need to, download and run HiJack This and post it in the HijackThis Logs (analyze) Forum and a log reader will get to you eventually. Liz
