A think some dirty robbing stinking low life has tried to break in too my computer. A fuming.

I have just sat down in front of the computer about an hour ago and out of curiosity started to look at my log files in my router after writing that tutorial on OpenVPN.

I had logged in the router 6 attempts of UDP port scan and 5 attempts of UDP flood. Not knowing much I goggled it and UDP being User Datagram Protocol and looking at the detailed Log Files. I have been given IP Addresses what have according too two or three different sites been recorded as malicious. Such as badips.com.

By the looks of it they have tried to get in threw port 80 but the I.P Addresses that have been cataloged are for complete foreign nations highlighted red on the maps.

It happens - sounds like just port scans and the like. As long as you're connected to the internet, you'll get scanned.

+1 it happens all the time. port scans against IPs/machines.

just curious people trying to find weaknesses!
