Converting Laptop Keyboard to PS/2

I have an old laptop keyboard and the other day I was thinking if I can convert the connections to PS/2 then I would have a super small little keyboard I could mount just about anywhere. Can this be done?

wow... good luck
i'm still trying to figure out how to use the LCD from a laptop in a desktop... that would be perfect in the side of the case for LAN parties and such... couldn't tell ya on the kbd though... i've seen them that small, might just be easier to buy one...
if it happens let me know how...
any other's got some advise?

Yes! I am also looking to convert a laptop LCD to desktop VGA for my linux box, if you ever have any input on that let me know.
