I was wondering if I should upgrade my PC now or wait for the Xbox S Scorpio? My system specs are as follows

Just need to replace the GPU (maybe PSU depending on what you currently have) and you'll be fine.

I'm running a 4690k (OC'd unlike yours which is stock) + GTX 970 and am fine. I suspect I will be for several years or unless I want to get into VR in which case I would have to upgrade to a 1070 at least. The 1070 is a great buy for ~$350 if you can find one in stock.

You could get the 200 dollar RX480 and have about 3-4x GPU performance with a solid *** rig. I have to admit, idk how you're playing games on a 1440p panel with a 750ti lol. You da real MVP.
