hey all,

just bought Dell's U2414H monitor. when connecting it to the mini-display port to the displayport on my card (which supposed to be a superior connection then HDMI from what i know) - after a fiew minutes of work it loads up this internal power saving screen, the bigger problem is that there's not coming back from this.

anyone know how to bypess this? or disable at all these power saving things??

saw many people talking about it on forums through google but not one good answer that helps.

much thanks!

The screen goes into power save mode usually when it has no video output going to it.
Try connecting it HDMI to HDMI and see if you get the same problem.
As either your graphic displayport or monitor displayport ( or the cable), could be faulty.
