Well, I use avg when I use windows, but I've yet to try avast.

Thanks guys, since I had a bad experience with AVG and all, I'm going with Avast 4 Home Edition for now, I thought someone might persuade me to go back with AVG, but there aren't that many good arguements towards AVG. I'm suprised no one talked about Panda yet. By the way, both Norton and McAfee suck, they do their job, but McAfee is a pain to work with.

Well, I have to say that I love Norton. Kinda that "install and forget" type of anti-virus protection. Now, I don't want to be flamed by people *cough SouthernLady cough* but that's just my personal opinion.

i've never tried panda. but i know that i don't like mcafee. personally, looks does matter to me, thats one problem i am having with avg.
