What made you choose to go with a Socket 754 over the 939?

Nothing in particular, just was a decent one I thought...does that make any difference? I'm new to buying all this stuff, the current one I have was made from parts I already had, so there was no choosing... Thanks.

Just noticed it wasn't much more expensive to go to the 939 socket, might have more upgrading options in the future if you do.

Can you give a reason why? I say that because...it seems whenever I want to upgrade my processor, I upgrade the mo'board as well...is there any difference/reason besides that?
