Laptop CPU

I have a HP DM4-2015dx laptop with an i3 2310M (2.1 ghz) cpu. I can get an i5 2540M (2.6ghz) cpu for $37. on ebay
Would this be worth the $$ and time to upgrade this laptop?

Edited: Left out the "M" for mobile. According to HP's web site, that i5 is qualified for this laptop

Cool, in that case what are the other specs of the laptop?

on board Intel 3000 graphics, It currently has 6 gb DDR3 memory but it can go to 8gb. I put a Samsung 250gb SSD in it last summer. Windows 10 pro

The only difference between the two is CPU boost. I think boosting to 3.3 might be worth $37.

yup... that i5 has turbo-boost up to 3.3 ghz on a app that uses one core of the two. I thought it would be a good deal for the price. Just wanted that confirmed by someone else too.

I men if we were talking like 75 or above idk if it'd be worth it but 37 isn't much.
