In order of performance with everthing, not just games, but the overall performance of the processor.

Can't be done, rating the processors in gaming and everything else, it can't be done! General and actually proven rule is as follows.

AMD: Great for gaming only.
Intel: Great for everyhting except gaming.

lga775 over the 478 without a doubt.

my 478 kicks some arse, got the 3.2 up to 3.51ghz, but yeah, lga's are the wave of the future.

AMD FX are the shizzle of AMD's product line, they bascially stomp every other proc in their path.
64 are the second best series and of course are 64 bit compatible.
I don't know between XP and semprons though, I do have an XP 2400 chip in another comp, and now that i've reinstalled windows, it runs like a champ.
