XP Pro problem need answers quick

Hey guys i have no idea what happened to my computer. i have xp pro on it and sp1. it was find all day and then i shut it down. when i booted it back up it won't boot into anything: safe mode, normal, safe mode w/command prompt. when i have it boot to normal it goes to the windows xp with the bar loading...but then it flashes a blue screen real quick and reboots.

Anybody have any idea on whats goin on here?

Do you have any form of setup diagnostics that came with your mobo? Maybe a system of 4 lights? If so look up in the manual what those four lights mean.

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a dodgy memory stick - i would recommend trying another memory stick if possible.

i reinstalled xp...so we'll see if it works..if not i'll get back to ya

I reinstalled it and i have no problems now...i have no idea what happened...i'm gonna ask my professor this week at school so i'll let ya know when i find out
