...on my AMD machine.
i am trying to install a fresh copy of XP Home, i get to the partitions and it says i shouldn't install a fresh copy with a copy that's already there, and i don't want to, so i try to delete the partition, but it won't let me delete the partition because it contains neccessary setup files in order for XP to install properly. so, the only option is to install a fresh copy on the same partition as the old copy. WTF???
i tried to format the drive in windows by right clicking the drive icon in my computer but that won't work either, i just want XP to wipe out my data and start fresh again!
also, the partition is the only partition on the drive and the unpartitioned space is too small to fit a fresh copy of XP on.
this is using a legal copy of XP Home
thanks for your info!
