Thoughts on Potential Upgrade(s)?

Hi all, I built the below with a lot of help from this forum in 2009 and was wondering if there are any potential upgrades that would help with overall performance? I would say 50% of its use is just for internet browsing and storage and the other 50% for ripping and burning DVD/BD, light home video editing, lots of video conversions with Handbrake, some light photo editing, etc. The only multi-tasking ever going on is when I'm waiting for videos to download/upload or convert and playing music or internet browsing at the same time or maybe some light photo or video editing.

Should I boost RAM (what is the max that I can even install or useful?) Would a SSD for the OS be useful? Motherboard and processor still sufficient?

-Windows 10 Pro
-Core i7 920 @ 2.67GHZ
-ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 LGA 1366 Intel X58 ATX Intel Motherboard
-XFX Radeon HD 4890 HD-489A-ZDFC 1GB 256-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16
-OCZ Gold 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3G1600LV6GK
-3 x 1TB Western Digital Black 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0gb/s
-2 x PLEXTOR 24X DVD/CD Writer Black SATA Model PX-880SA
-USB 3.0 Card, SD Card Reader, LG DVD/BD 24X
-Power Supply - CORSAIR TX Series CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V v2.3

Can you overclock? Since most of your stuff is CPU heavy overclocking would help. Getting something like the H100i GTX would grant you the ability to OC a bit. A 3.5GHz OC on that chip is rather easy stuff with guides all over the internet.

I might bump your RAM up to 12GB.

Finally, yes, all of the yes to an SSD above all else.

Thanks for the input! I'll prioritize the 850 EVO and the overlocking first, then look at some RAM.

Any recommendations on RAM or would something like this suffice? My motherboard has 3 slots available, but not sure if most efficient to use them all or okay just to use 2 slots.

WOW I have almost the same setup sitting here in a box LOL Got it from a friend for $100 for he P6T and the I7 920 and 6 gigs of 1600 ram. Have a SSD and a corsair TX650 for it from the old system too. Just need to move all the files off the SSD on the old system and actually put it together LOL

Honestly you can toss whatever RAM you want in there. Even if it was just another 2GB stick to get you 8GB. That is unless you wanted to load up on RAM, that's up to you.

The SSD will genuinely make the biggest difference right now.

Well I got the Asus P6T 6 gigs of 1600 ram and the 920 for $100 so I didn't do too bad, was more helping out a friend that needed the money so figured I'd use it to upgrade my old 775 system, still gets used quit a bit and will most likely put the 775 in a old tower and in the garage/shop for web surfing and such.
