Alright, I'm looking to upgrade my RAM. I have 2 DIMM Slots for two 184-pin unbuffered PC2700/PC2100/PC1600 DDR SDRAM (I also have two 168-pin SDRAM slots, but that's irrelevent).

Currently I have 256 MB of DDR ram. I want to upgrade to 512. I went to crucial.com and found RAM compatible with my motherboard, but I do have one question. If I get a 512 DDR module, can I stick it in the second slot and have 768 MB of RAM, or does it not work like that?

it should work fine if your motherboard support 768 megs of RAM which it should, if its older it might not be able to go over 1 gig, most now can take 1 gig in each slot.
