oh, then you do not need SP1 anymore.

yeah but with sp2 already intergrated how will that work with my partitions? should i stick with 3 partitions. ... heres what i have to put on my comp. so far....xp pro with sp2 and office 2003 intergrated on it....and then the software for my devices...like nero,etc....then i'm just gonna put music and games on partition 2

There won't be any problem with partitions if you have SP2. You can use 2 partitions if you want (20|180) or anything else you would like. Maybe you should start a poll asking how big everybodies XP partition is.
