Slow Windows Boot

Ok i tryed GameXP the blue thing goes by 4 times. However my computer takes alot longer to login and load startup programs. Should I:

Continue with gameXP
Use old settings
BootVIS

search google for game xp, my old comp is similar to yours and it only goes 4 times.
