Hey guys, I'm putting together a build for my brother. Basic user, just Internet and listening to music. He has a huge music collection that he will be storing some on the HD. His house burned down and he lost his computer last year, so he needed everything, monitor keyboard, speakers....Can you check through these parts and see if everything looks ok.

Condolences to your brother, I dealt with that 4 years ago.

Think your build needs to be revised quite a bit. Is he a basic user who just wants to browse the net and listen to music, or does he eventually want to game?
Is he an audiophile? Does he want a smaller compact rig?

Thanks for the reply, He isn'tgoing to game on it.Most he will be doing, is saving his music to the hard drive . He has records he will be converting to audio files but nothing to advanced.I put this together to be a fast pc that he won't have any speed problems with

Yea, then we can do a lot better with that. Main problem being, APUs are pretty **** as is that power supply. I also don't really see the need for a gaming tower when we can make it smaller and more efficient, as well as use the added funds from yanking the cooling for a better setup.

Smaller, more efficient, faster, and can be upgraded to an i5 if the need arises (which I doubt). Will also run cooler.
