Scan and Aria tend to be pretty good and well priced (check both, often one is significantly cheaper than the other)

For any consumer based stuff, you can spot good deals on HotUKDeals as well (works best if you're not looking for something specific)
 
OK, thank you I didn't find any reference to aria so far. Will definitely investigate that road.

By browsing some forums, some reported that the RAM slowed down the CPU. It seems that the why is beyond my current knowledge.

I was wondering if in the part list below, things were incompatible or would be a bottleneck. I have tried to stick with options that assemblers offer. What do you think?

Even 1600 wouldn't bottleneck it so you're fine.

Idk about UK prices, but over here it makes more sense to get a single 1.2TB 750 rather than dual 400s.
