Asus & MSI GPU compatible?

Bleh, AMD Crossfire can be insanely confusing, because you can even mix a few generations... I still don't, and never will see a true point in Crossfire or SLI.

Just depends on budget. A single Titan X is roughly the performance of 2 980s, and a single 980ti is roughly the performance of 2 970s. Get two of the high end cards is just icing on the cake.

It's not possible to crossfire AMD and Geforce... It's IMPOSSIBLE...

What we are saying is this...

In advanced setups, it's possible to crossfire lets say...
AMD 3870 and AMD 3400
AMD 4200 and AMD 3200 (some boards allowed this)

It's IMPOSSIBLE to crossfire or SLI lets say...
AMD x290 and Nvidia Geforce 980 as they are two entirely different species.

How-ever... In very complicated and tricky setups, a user can do the following...
Use an AMD 290 for graphics, and a Geforce 950 for physics, but these are NOT connected cards, they are operating entirely separate, and on their own.

Or some users just use the Nvidia GPU entirely for it's CUDA processing.

Basically, what your asking, is impossible electrically.
