Hey all. I've bought a Asus Geforce GTX 980 Strix, and I'm thinking about buying a MSI Radeon R9 390X. Now my question is: Can they work together with a Crossfire bridge? My Mobo is a ASrock pro4 z77.

Thanks in advance :D

Ummmmm that is like asking if AMD cpu would work on intel motherbaord, so nope.

But I have just heard and seen, that Radeon and Geforce GPU's can work together; so I'm just a bit confused...

Yes/No

You can run an AMD and a Nvidia in the same computer, but not xfired or sli'd.
You need to have the same chipset to do that, even a 970 and 980 won't work together.
However, an Asus and msi 980 can sli.

Theres just one thing I don't understand, because this guy explains the SLI and Crossfire thingy. And He says that "They only require the same GPU architecture"?
