Need help on cooling mat.

Hi I just got a 2015 eon17x and I forgot to add the cooling mat with it..... These laptops are thoroughly checked and tested so I'm not to worried, but would like one anyway. It has the 4790k which puts off more heat. Is the targus hd3 cooling mat a good choice or is there something better... Idc how much it costs. Thanks for the help.

Depends on where the intake vents are for your laptop, and where they exhaust from.

Get a cooling mat that's big enough for your laptop, has 1 (or more) fans, with at least 1 of them pointing under the intake area for your laptop so that cool air can get directly in. Also make sure the mat is raised (either from you or something built into the mat) so that air can flow correctly.

I know that one is a dual fan with upgraded bearings apparently. Not sure how it's raised. I'll have to look but thanks.
