Good parts for a budget pc?

An AMD Athlon x4 860K and a Radeon R7 260X combination will run rings round the A10-7850K.

An Athlon x4 860K is basically the A10-7850K without the graphics, and from what I recall, also overclocks better than the A10-7850K too. You're better going with the Athlon chip and getting a dedicated graphics card.

EDIT: If you buy this quickly, you can pick up an 860K for only £42... brilliant deal! http://www.aria.co.uk/SuperSpecials...rocessor+?productId=62731&source=pcpartpicker

But decent gaming cards are expensive.

Even a GT740 outperforms an APU.

The 860K is £42 and the A10-7850K is £100. For the £58 difference you'll get a better graphics card than the A10-7850K offers.

EDIT: Too slow, the special offer has ended, back to £55 for the 860K, never mind.
