Will a WD Scorpio Blue Hard drive function in a Dell PP14L?

A 2.5" drive should work but if this is an old laptop then you might need to get a PATA (IDE) drive and I'm not sure how easy it'll be to get something that old, brand new.

The Dell PP14L uses IDE. Looking on Newegg I do see some PATA WD Scorpio Blue drives, so the answer to your question is technically yes, but only for the PATA versions of the drive.
