Sound problem

Hello,i have a desktop computer and i can't get any sound of rear and front panel .Drivers installed.

Mobo: ASRock ConRoe1333-DVI/H

Is either output set to default in Windows?

Yes...Idk what's wrong.Tested many methods but still nothing.I'm using an external sound card with usb now.If anyone wants more info to help me solve this let me know thanks.

Make sure your case speakers are connected to the mobo.
You should have a cable that says audio or hdaudio, take that and connect it to a 8 pin hdaudio.
Turn on the computer and make sure it works, if not power it down and try the other 8 pin sound slot.
If neither of those work, you might need to rma your board with asrock.
Was the sound working when you purchased this or no ?
If it didn't work upon receiving it and even having the correct drivers its a problem with the mobo.
