Heyas,

Need some opinions on what to do. I am running an I7 920 d0 w/EVGA E758-A1 and OCZ Platinum 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Voltage Desktop Memory Model OCZ3P1600LV6GK - Newegg.com ; looking to upgrade just my ram, but the problem is that it is no longer available unless I can locate a used set. That being said, would I be better off just purchasing a new 12gb 1600 Triple Channel set and replace or try to locate a used set and add to mine? If I'm better of replacing I'd like something with equal or better performance, what would you recommend?

Thanks for any wisdom, much appreciated

I have a old I7 920 setup with 6gb of the same ram, It is 1600 for the speed and I was just going to get 6gb more of 1600 ram, Being the same speed it should run in triple channel but if not it won't be a real noticable difference unless your OC trying to get top performance out of it.
