Yep I mentioned that in the mod board. They're doing temporary work, and the 301 will be put back in place once they're done.

just my two cents-

What percentage of traffic only wants a solution to their current issue.
How many accounts do people abandon after they get that solution? and
have forgotten that password and setup another account when they have another problem..

I could keep going but My point is I do think the site would be better served focusing in on mobile and the areas Lexluethar mentioned software realm, network and enterprise business

I would also like to think if the idea is to find a way to generate return traffic somebody might discuss some type of community involvement or projects that might generate that type of interaction.
