CD-RW or DVD/RW

anyone know of any goood deals on newegg on for a CDRW or DVDRW.. my cd rw is screwed up so i was thinking of getting a new one.. but i was wondering how much more it would cost to get a DVD-RW?? than to get a new CD/RW

better get a DVD-RW, wont be too much difference that i am sure (get 4X)

can a dvd-rw not be compatible wit a comp?

all optical drives share 1 set of driver that are called ATAPI drivers.

they come bilt into the Optical drive BIOS. so no incompatibility issue.
