i am playing cs 1.6 with 256 ram. The fps aint doing too good. its jumping around between like 50-100. im lagging quite a bite. any one have this card and can tell me how there doing. would more ram help?

is it a PCI card?

it means, that the PCI clock is 33Mhz and Data Through Put of 133MB/s

where the AGP 4X (your board must have at least) is clocked at 266Mhz and peak throughput of 1GB/s data.

see the difference your self.

I think it can be installed in both AGP and PCI slots (a little confution on ATi's own site, as they mentioned (OR) )

see as if it can be installed into AGP, (if the PCI version isnt seperately made). else get rid of it and get the AGP version.

are you having the tiny PC? as small form factors like Dell Dimension 4700C series comes in PCI slots only. (I have a similar thin IBM Netvista at home, with no AGP slot)

I don't know any cards that fit into PCI and AGP, the two ports are positoned diferently and have different shape/pins. And, I wouldn't be surprised if the 9250 would lag on CS.

I played cs1.6 with a radeon 9000 agp

i got 100fps solid using 256 meg of ram

U was forced to use a PCI video card with my first PC and it was shit

I would advise upgrading your mboard before buying a new card (agp)
