Help me rebuild my Gaming Rig.

Yeah, used to be that the pins were on the CPU and slid into pin slots on the boards.

Now the CPU just has contacts, and the boards have the pins (less likely to bend pins).

Think I may have done something to the cpu.

Everything is hooked up best I could find online and in the manual.
The DVD player and HD I plugged in beside each other.

I only put the Power button on the 10pin panel. Rams in. Powers connection. Cpu fan is connected. Green light comes on but when I press the power button it doesn't make any noise just the cpu fan spins for 2 seconds then stops

That would stop a boot lol, Your PS DOES have that one, It may be a 8 pin actually, The 8 pin for the GPU will be a 6 pin with 2 on the side to use as a 8 pin, That one will be 2 4 pin plugs side by side, Many MB's use the 8 but yours is using just the 4 but it IS on your PS, That I'm confident of.

Lol. I'm an idiot. Of course it would.

But I can't find the 4pin connector on my supply, unless it came with it extra and I don't have/lost it since I got it.

These are what I've got straight off the PS:

I think I may need a sort of reducer or extra connector to make it 4 pin.

+1 to what PP said.

You don't need a reducer or adapter or anything - the pin slots are keyed, so it will only plug in one way. Just plug in the ones that fit, and it's fine. There'll be extras hanging off, but it won't affect anything.

Had it plugged in he wrong spot. That's all
