Core2Quad Q6600 temperature under load 70 C

Idle temp is 40-45 max,and under load it goes up to 70 C max(when playing demanding games like BF3),is this normal?
Im using stock cooler.

As long as you arent getting 70c while its idle its fine, but Id always suggest putting in extra fans if your a heavy gamer.. as heat kills the CPU

Would be a better idea to get a socket 775 aftermarket cooler.

The Rifle S1283 was always a good one; I remember the Tuniq Tower always being used on Q6600's as well.

I have a Tuniq but with AIOs being cheap, just get something like a Corsair H80.
