My boss is wanting me to build him a PC for some side $$$

Money is not an issue

He doesnt game or anything but he said he wants something fast and reliable

His house is CAT wired so WIFI isnt necessary..

Other than that.. GO..

How fast- like cutting edge or perfectly fast for 99% of people , what are you going to use it for? Any video editing or huge software packages to worry about? Size of case matter any? Noise level matter any? Do you need monitor, software, mouse, keyboard?

When building a new PC - it is a custom thing so these things matter. OR I guess we could just link up a bunch of super good components since you said money was no problem- I doubt that really true- give us a range $400- 700, or 750- 1000, or 1000-1500, or over 1500 anyhow, as real cutting edge stuff can make a PC cost in the thousands.

Kinda need more info. What's the actual usage? Does he want a small PC? Is audiophile audio output necessary for media in a home theater environment?

*Speed-Id say perfectly fast for 99%
*Hes going to use it for buisness- Quickbooks, RDP, VPN, Office, ETC...
*He says he will be video/photo editing (But i doubt its full fledged, Hes not too IT savy)
*Size doesnt really matter
*Id say as quiet as possible
*Monitor, Mouse, keyboard, and OS i can handle (Windows 7 maybe 10 when that comes out)

*Price range id say $2000 (I really dont think he'd care if it were $3k but ill put a limit at $2000)

12/10 for what this guy needs. Honestly, he doesn't even need 1/4 that. An i3, 8GB of RAM, smaller SSD, ect would be fine but with the budget this will last a whole lot longer.

Alright im going through with this purchase today... As this is my first build, Is there anything else that may have been overlooked?? I added a DVD drive and OS... Just want to utilize my savings and get everything on one order.... THANKS
