Upgrading PC for gaming/design work

Ok thanks for clearing that up.

I'm curious as to why the motherboard is so cheap. Are motherboards usually cheap I think my current one is more expensive that this one
 
Yes it is. You can put the latest i7 on there (4790k), any GPU you want, has SATA3 and USB3, and a 16x PCI-E 3 slot. With Intel boards you get all the best basic features even at the lowest end of the pole but you can still build a top end rig with the lowest end board and it'll run at 100%. The only problem with it really isn't much a problem, and that's a 16GB cap. 16GB is more than plenty for all typical users and gamers.
