HP Compaq Thin Client only led no boot

hello I have a small HP Compaq model HSTNC-003-TC. If I power it, it doesn't power on. Only green led and no video. Can you help me? tnx

Can you give abit more background to the machine? like when did it work last? any changes? did you build it or plug it all in? also there are normally 2 LED lights, one blinks and shows HDD read/write other shows power to machine, which one is it?

First, have you made sure all cables are pushed in correctly on the machine, and monitor is plugged in correct?

last work.... mmmm years don't know. there is only one green led stable after power supply plug in. the HD led is off. No beep.

No changes, the video cable is plugged but no signal.

Could be a fault in the mobo, open up the machine and check if there is any components missing, you say years maybe someone has taken parts out?

Check the CMOS battery on the board.

Since you said it's been years since last used...very well could be the issue.

Also check the video output.. Have you tried both VGA and DVI?
