As the title says I need the official drivers for this laptop.
Mainly I need the wireless adapter drivers for windows 7 x64.
I had the drivers last year but I lost them when I cleaned out something.
Searching all over the net, I keep finding the incorrect drivers.
If someone could help out quickly I appreciate it.

Can get the drivers from each component manufacturers' site using by finding the model of each component using the Hardware ID's from Device Manager.

Open up Device Manager
On everything that has a yellow exclamation mark, do the following:
Right click -> Properties -> Details tab
Post the following info for each item that has a yellow exclamation mark:
Under "Hardware Ids" in the dropdown, it should have something like VEN_####&DEV#### ; post that section, where #### = some alphanumeric combination.

Or just go to PCIDatabase.com and type in the VEN code, and then CTRL+F for the VEN code on the results page. Should give you the device model, then you can go to the component manufacturer's page.

I'll give that a try, I need to have this laptop ready by morning.
Otherwise it'll be on hold till thursday or friday. x_x
Busy weeks or busy month.

Thanks.

That's the method I usually use when I need to reinstall drivers on OEM systems. That way I get the most updated drivers and don't have to worry about wading through crappy OEM websites' support sections.

Well without the driver being officialy installed no it doesn't.
I just checked it and windows had no record of it.
None the less I found it though on acer alternate site.
Now my only problem is microsoft pulled the iso's off.
Guess they're weren't BSing when they closed support for 7 and cleaned up some other pirating issues.

Do you have windows 7 home premium oem by chance ?
I installed the wrong version of 7 and now the damn locked me out.
Yes it locked me out because its taken me awhile to fix this laptop.
But me and this client have had a hit and miss. :/

At times like this I don't even wanna bother but no one else cares to do it right in my area and for a good price. :|

Give me steps of how to strangle the ceo of microsoft for doing this to technicians like me. :(
