divx software and player

Does any one use the divx software and divx video player? Is there any spyware with the divx software? I have heard that, and wondering if any one knows something about that.

Yup ,Divx used to come up with some spywares...i dunno about the latest versions thou. I just use ace mege codec pack in windows and mplayer in linux . But i remember older divx player/codec installation having some spywares..
