No point in barebones when NCIX will do the build (if in US) for you for an extra $60 and you get the hardware you want .

Plus with a barebones you have to make some compromise somewhere. When you piece it all yourself you get what you want.

Heads up, this is a Steam box, not a true desktop PC. It runs a modified Win8.1.

I know someone with one and it games decently, but really is meant to replace an xbox/ps3.

NCIX will even price match online prices.

The "M" at the end of the model gives it away, which stands for Mobile .

Yes Nvidia released the 800 series on the mobile variants only, The desktops were marked as the 960 970 and 980
