Windows keeps failing, dead ssd?

I haven't been gaming on pc a lot lately, but isn't the 920 getting to be on its last leg? I mean, it's nearing being 7-year old tech.

Appears to have been primary gpu. Yay!

Now if only I could figure out why windows isn't picking up my hdd even though it saw it when I went to reinstall windows.

Really? Why not just buy the same CPU and just swap them out? Unless I am not understanding correctly? That is if it is a CPU issue.

Still perfectly suitable for gaming with a small boost in speed.

Those 920's came unlocked and it is possible to get 3.6 ghz on just air with that chip

After i upgrade my gpu later this year when we finally get to 20 nm on team red, i'll have to toy around with that. No point with my current setup though.
