What kind of SCSI cable?

I need to know what type of SCSI cable I need to connect my old laptop to an old external CD-ROM drive. Here are the pics:

If it is a SCSI external hard drive, witch i never heard of them, i dont know. But i can tell you that if an SCSI drive is going to work with a computer you'll need a specail adaptor. If its not a SCSI im sure USB would work.

If it is SCSI im almost positive just a cable wont work.

its not a HD, look at the audio inputs.. lol. SCSI can be used for anything. SCSI means small computer system interface. It is used for lots of things such as backup tapes for pcs or switch boxes, anything..
