When I bought my PC it came with 11GB of ram, this, to me seems like an odd installment of ram? Is this detrimental to my system?

Okay: I have the details (nearly exactly) of what I require for my MOBO upgrade.

To state again what I am looking for: I need an LGA 1150 Socket to fit my Processor (5-4460)
I have a GTX 660 that requires a PCI-E 3.0 16x ( I am not wanting to change this currently) This card is also reasonably big, therefore i don't want it covering any slots I may need.
I am using 4x DIMM slots for 11GB of RAM, but I don't mind a MOBO with 2x because using 8GB isn't the end of the world.
I also use around 6-10 USB Slots, so I would need a MOBO that has this number of slots.
