Laptop HD Cloning Prob

Hello all,

I get the following message while trying to clone my laptop HD using Macrium cloning software:

"Target disk has an incompatible sector size".

I am fairly sure my laptop HD and my new HD are compatible (512). I've done a bit of research and I believe it has something to do with the docking station I am using.

Would using a SATA to USB cable resolve this issue?

Try using CloneZilla - can't say I've ever heard of Macrium.
