Hey guys,
I've got a marketing background but have always gravitated towards the digital side of things. Just got into the "tech" side of things in the last couple of years or so and I find myself in a web development role. Mostly light stuff so far like server/webhost administration and Wordpress/BigCommerce/Shopify theme development that's enabled our lead-gen, SEO/SEM and ecommerce company to offer web design/management services.
My main goal in becoming a part of the community is learning some functional knowledge as it pertains to PHP/SQL (and other scripting languages), eCommerce development, performance & security. But more importantly, I'm frequently responsible for bringing together the moving parts (read: project management/contracting) of web projects and want to get better at speaking the language so that I can communicate more clearly on behalf of my company and our clients.
So, I'm here. Looking forward to jumping in and contributing (and listening) as much as possible.
