Absolute best vid card on market?

6800 GT 128mb, 6800 GT 256mb, or Other? (under $420)

I decided not to buy a new monitor with my comp so I have money to to splurge with.

Individual brands and stuff I am not sure about, post em if you want.

I'm not sure if it's the absolute best, but I saw a 6800 ultra extreme edition that had some pretty serious specs that would make me think that it was the best right now.

yeah go for what Gage said, 6800GT 256mb is nice, plus, it even comes with Doom 3! can't beat that, seein as how i gave 400 for mine, without doom 3.

The eVGA 6800GT 256MB is probably the best card on the market in your price range.

But I've heard the 256mb can actually slow speeds, that true?
If I could get a good brand 6800 GT for 128 for less, that'd be nice. Is the ASUS any good?

What's the use of 256 in the next few years anyway?

no, 256 doesnt slow, and eVGA would prolly do you better, just my opinion
