Need your guidance with my new build

What's the point of this thread when you have the other? Kinda confused here. You didn't exactly need to change the CPU or motherboard and the Hyper 212 isn't necessary as overclocking isn't necessary.

As to the warranty thing, what they don't know won't hurt them. I've RMA'd under warranty a chip I fried with phase change cooling before. If they ask you about the stock cooler, say you used it.

I recently acquired a p7h55-m mobo from a friend which contains an i5 quad core. I set it all up to what I consider as done, it seems to start fine with all fans running and light on mobo comes on. all components are firmly in place, there is no signal on my screen and no beeping of any sort. I was reading that it could be due to my cpu not being compatible with the on-board graphics on the p7. I was wondering if simply installing a graphics card would fix this? I am fairly new to building computers and would appreciate a lame mans explanation or way around my dilemma
