What does an

amd 3200+ 939 = to a intel process

amd 3000+ 939 = to a intel process

If you dont know what i am asking pplease ask

ex i dont know if this is right or not

amd 2800+ = intel p4 2.8

I've heard that a 2800 runs @ 2.8GHz, but I've also read that it doesn't, and I'm kinda leaning towards the latter.

i am wanting to know about the 3000+ and 3200+

do they run close to a 3.0 intel p4 and 3.2?

yes they are numbered that way by AMD because they are roughly the equivilant. for wordy technical reasons they are not the same mhz but perform similar. But like major said there are advantages and disadvantages about both. amd's are said to be better for gaming, while intel is often better for business apps and the like (i believe).

MS will release XP64 soon. And AMD will totally beat Intel as soon as 64bit apps are released, especially in Photoshop, Premiere, GoLive etc

ooohhhh mannn when is it finally gonna be here???? and I know theres a freckin beta out but im not gonna mess with that. itll be the day before Intel releases their own 64 ;)
