I get it now but how about amd's laptop processors ? Do they have more than dual-core cpu(s)?

AMD's laptop chips are generally APUs these days, and they pretty much are all slow.

So will it be able to run games that needs 4cores with HT 4virtual cores?

No game uses HT, no game will properly utilize more than 3 or so cores. Laptops lack proper GPU horsepower so go with a good clocked i5 and the best GPU you can get.
